KAON is a state of the art balloon expandable coronary stent, developed and manufactured by the Fortimedix stent engineering group. The stent design provides for an excellent balance between delivery characteristics and performance after expansion.

The proprietary Fortimedix polishing technology, in combination with a complete technology platform of full in-house contract stent development & manufacturing capabilities and related services, warrants unsurpassed surface finishing and a first class, competitive stent product.

The Kaon coronary stent is available in stainless steel and cobalt chromium as a bare component. Kaon Cobalt Chromium combines outstanding material mechanical properties with innovative stent design, enhancing stent deliverability through superior crossing profiles and exceptional flexibility and trackability. The Kaon product line is made available on an OEM basis to Private Label Manufacturers. The complete product line carries CE mark approval, but it will need to be re-certified for CE mark and/or local approval as a Private Label branded product. Our product customization services will facilitate this process.
